BlackRiver Trucks Help

Hey guys, last night I filmed a video which explains some basics of blackriver trucks which most people don't understand, so I hope it clears things up. Thomas at BRR also uploaded a text file with more info. Check out both of them:

Thank you for the tutorial so to speak on the trucks. I think you have some things in there that some people didn't understand. Still i have to wonder are they worth paying as much as a real skateboard truck is worth?

Don't get me wrong i support you in the effort to bring a higher quality product to our sport. I would imagine that 20 euro would be a good price for this product. I know you would get more customers trying them out that way. Until then tuned td has to be my choice of truck. Thanks for the efforts on your behalf.

@ Anonymous: The production of the trucks itself is already more than 20 Euro !! :-D

Some people underestimate the efforts connected with the planing, production, assembling of precise tiny parts that are NOT just bought in the next DIY superstore.

The trucks are worth the money. They offer features i was missing in fingerboarding until they were released.

TD Trucks are fine, i have a second set-up with TD myself.

It all depends on at what level you want to fingerboard.
It is a fact fingerboarders riding on a professional level were dreaming of professional trucks for a long time. They are now available.
In no way this threatens fingerboarders riding other trucks!
I like a broader range of goods to chose from and these trucks made me have more fun fingerboarding this year than ever before.

So to answer your question:
Along with numerous fingerboarders i can only say: YES THEY ARE WORTH AS MUCH AS A REAL SKATEBOARD TRUCK...

....because they are REAL fingerboardtrucks giving me the same or even more fun than skateboardtrucks. :-D

Back to the topic:
Thanks for the tutorial!! I know it will help a lot of people understand the trucks better.

I am going to translate this tutorial into Russian and post the video at fbspot.ru, this is better than nothing (I mean that guys from brr said that they will not send me trucks for the review, this is their choice, but I think that they made an error).

@ Anonymous
why should they not be worth paying as much as skateboard trucks?

Is fingerboarding less valuable, or what?

Size doesn´t matter.

@ vit
do you think brr can send trucks for free to every forum or blog member?

@ Vit:

I remember someone (you) writing an email telling us he wanted to write a review about the trucks in russian forums.
I wrote back that is fine, since a lot of people write reviews about all kind of products all the time. Just go ahead!
I didn´t know he wanted trucks for free and i think it is odd to make the outcome of an review depend on the fact if you get a pair of trucks for free or not!! This is strange.
Your sentence "(I mean that guys from brr said that they will not send me trucks for the review, this is their choice, but I think that they made an error)"
is more than strange, is it some kind of blackmailing??
I think it is more than poor threatening to badtalk a product, unless you get it for free.

Vit, i still have your email here, you could directly have asked for a pair of trucks....
Guess what? We get hundreds of request asking for free stuff each month and we need to filter. Most people at least have the guts to ask directly for stuff. :-D

you can email me directly if you want to discuss the case.

Yes i guess so.... well who knows how long the Euro will remain this strong compared to other currencies? It will not go on like this for ever, so customers from outside Europe will most likely have to pay less again in the future.... :-D

Vit, you don't need to be rude bout BRR yeh. They know the best for the fingerboarding community. You just started writing on here, and you have already annoyed big companys. Have you seen what Andre wrote? Thats LowPRo, a REALLY big company. And What Thomas said? Thats BRR, the bigggest company. If I was you I wouldn't be rude about them or any big company here. They are much more advanced with all this. So watch ur mouth if u want customers.

@ Topic
I am def. getting some of these. I wanna get them with the winkler wheels hansen versions ( Thomas Hansen rocks) and a BW graphic deck. What graphic should I get? I'm not sure about any of the ones out now. I have the rasta but what is the coolest graphic deck comming out?

i just want to say, here at fb weekly i am in most cases representing my own opinion as an individual fingerboarder. I am not always talking for BRR.

I guess i will sometimes have to make that more clear.

@ Sadie :-D yeah i know..i just felt like to explain that beside speaking for a company from time to time i am still an individual fingerboarder and in most cases i express my personal opinion as a fingerboarder.

It is cool, i am happy to see all the new articles about meet ups and fingerboarding in other countries popping up on the page over night!! :-D

Large commercial trucks are also sometimes called articulated trucks, or Artics for short. The trailer of these trucks is able to swivel on a hook, hinge or tow-bar, giving them articulation by design and thus name. These are the really big trucks, which get the big jobs done. Mac trucks are what we knew them as while I was growing up.
