Future Plans + What Would You Like To See?

This past week, we have accomplished an impressive milestone. There have been over 100,000 page impressions since June 2008!

We at FBWeekly value the input of our readers. Without you, there would be no reason to for us to write about fingerboarding. That is why we would like to have your opinion on where we should take the blog.

Here are some of our recent features:
- Flash-based and Excel-based Random Trick Generation Program.
- Videos from different events in the scene.
- Event Writeups from events in Portugal and Italy.
- Reviews of products.

Our future plans:
- Online Contest (details coming very soon!).
- Trick Tips on YouTube/DVD.
- Footage from Rendezvous 6.
- Video Profiles/Interviews of Riders/Company Owners.

Would you like to see more interviews with some riders in the fingerboard scene? Videos? More reviews of products? Is the site layout ugly, confusion etc.? Would you like to see more global events featured?

Anything else that is beyond the scope of our current way of doing things?

Please comment on this article and let us know!

-What Chris said about more global events besides rendezvous 6 would be neat like, the extravaganza, more meetups, contests, all that.

-Also more reviews on decks mostly would be very helpfull, such as flatface fingerboards, yellowood fingerboards, Pretes, etc...

-Showing where to get certain decks are also helpfull. for example pretes, holywoods, etc.

And Finally- CONTESTS ARE A GREAT IDEA. =) I think you guys should have a week or two time period for the contest to enter, so the most people enter as possible.

Hope you find these suggestions usefull!

------------------Bottom line------
Online Contests are great, since it lets riders from all over the world take part and not fly 6 hours for world champ.

trick Tips are also great thing, but the quality and skilled tricktips are pretty hard to make in kinda way.

The Interviews of riders and c.o. are also a great thought as all other sports do this veeeery often!

I also recommended something like Best picture of the week or so, but it would take too much time choosing the ONE1.

I think that the online contest is the best idea. Am really looking forward to it.

I also think you guys could put together a big fingerboarding video, and anyone with skills is allowed to take part.

Personally, I'd like to see some more outdoor footy in parts. An actual tour would be cool as well. :P
